Spider crane overcomes construction difficulties in narrow spaces

This machine features a folding telescopic boom and a crawler chassis, with a minimum width of just 80 cm. It can easily navigate narrow spaces like workshop aisles and corridors, and flexibly access areas inaccessible to traditional cranes, such as rooftop terraces and indoor mezzanines. Equipped with a high-strength alloy boom, the 5-ton model can lift 3.5 tons within a 3-meter radius, with load-bearing performance comparable to that of a mid-sized crane.

More importantly, its adaptive balancing system allows for stable operation even on rooftops with a 15° tilt or uneven surfaces. In a shopping mall renovation project, a spider crane completed the rooftop installation of six air-conditioning outdoor units in just three hours, achieving a five-fold increase in efficiency compared to manual labor and eliminating the cost of scaffolding. This compact yet precise design makes it an essential piece of equipment for construction in confined spaces.
